It will take you a few tries to get it right, it's kind of a pain in the *** IMO, which is why I would personally use an external audio editor for this type of thing, and just create a few different clips for what I need out of the original.Īnother way, as I as I mentioned earlier, use an FX plug-in where a reverse effect can be automated or else bounce what you have to wav, and then reopen it with the Sampler or Audio Clip channel and reverse it.
Then, reverse that new pattern and insert it in place of where it orginally was in the song. Use the Slice Tool (hold the Right Shift key down), and select using the blue markers what part of the pattern you want to extract and it then automatically places it in the next pattern in the Playlist.
